WELDER (MIG AND TIG)

Canada Power Products is currently seeking a Welder/Fitter to join our team. This role requires an outgoing, versatile and energetic individual who has a keen sense for quality and urgency and thrives in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Mig / Tig welding
- Stainless / Mild Steel 1/4” , 3/16” and 12 gauge material
- Pressure vessel experience a must
- Stud welding
- Ability to read and understand blue prints and shop drawings
- Good understanding of metric and standard measurements
- Able to set up and run equipment
- Work under minimum supervision
- Must maintain a clean shop
- Any other duties assigned

Key Qualifications and Competencies
- 2+ years experience within a manufacturing environment
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to work 1pm – 9:30pm shift
- Experience with overhead cranes
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Familiar with shop tools
